研究领域为:高分辨率卫星数据处理方法、AI与智能空间信息、极地与全球变化遥感监测。

国际欧亚科学院院士,国家高层次引进人才,教授(全职),硕士生和博士生导师,bat365官网登录空间信息科学及可持续发展应用中心主任;专业为摄影测量与遥感,1990年获德国柏林工业大学博士学位;国家重大科学研究计划(973)项目首席科学家,国家重点研发计划和国家自然科学基金重点项目负责人。曾为加拿大卡尔加里大学副教授和美国俄亥俄州立大学Lowber B. Strange讲席教授。美国土木工程学会会士、美国摄影测量与遥感学会会士、国际摄影测量与遥感学会冰冻圈和水圈工作组主任;现任国际海洋大地测量SCI学术期刊《Marine Geodesy》主编、获得多项NASA和美国摄影测量与遥感学会等机构的奖励。发表了200多篇国际论文,其中12篇论文合作发表在《Science》。
